Spanish Teacher

St. Anselm's Abbey School seeks a full-time instructor of Spanish for levels 1-4 (grades 8-11) with a start date of August 2021.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver an engaging and rigorous program of student-centered, proficiency-focused Spanish instruction at all levels.
• Conduct and organize ongoing assessments of student performance using multiple assessment tools, including standardized tests, oral and written performance assessments, informal assessments, homework, and project assessments as appropriate.
• Collaborate with other faculty members within the Modern Language Department to ensure consistency and continuity; seek out opportunities for cross-curricular learning working with other members of grade-level teams.
• Communicate proactively and regularly with parents, administrators, and other faculty about student progress.
• Contribute to the life of the school as a club moderator, advisor, and/or coach.
