OVERVIEW The ECS Tech Integrationist has strong teaching abilities, and a clear understanding and passion for the intersection between technology and communications. The Tech Integrationist teaches the technical skills related to various tools to communicate and share student voice and products, and also provides clear feedback and dialogue to grow students' ability to share their story with the world. The Tech Integrationist works in a highly collaborative environment, and loops with students from 9th through 12th grade. The Tech Integrationist works both in the technology lane but is able to see how technology is a tool not the end game. Successful candidates will have experience using technology in a subject area, but also a commitment to helping students see how content, voice, and communications can be amplified through the appropriate tech solution or platform. Additionally, this role works very closely with his/her grade level team, the looping Counselor, and the principal. Candidates for this position need to be savvy in both technology skills and communication skills, and have the disposition to grow a program from an idea.

Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in the field of education or related technology field preferred
Strong (and demonstrated) written, oral, and visual communication skills
Have experience designing, launching, and supporting technology initiatives related to teaching and learning
High competency in the use of G-Suite for Education, Google certified Educator Level 1 preferred
Success in modeling effective use of relevant instructional and interactive technology in the teaching and learning process
Familiarity with charter schools and high school students
Have the ability to intentionally and thoughtfully drive change while advancing the schools strategic initiatives.
Candidates with formal teaching in a high school setting experience strongly preferred
Additional Salary Information: Minimum starting salary of $42,216 up to a maximum starting salary of $48,556 dependent upon prior years teaching experience
