Professional Job Family: Administrative Professional - OT Eligible Position Details: Summary of Duties: The Principal Assistant position serves as the principal advisor to the Chair of the Department of Apparel, Merchandising, Design and Textiles (AMDT) and serves as the primary contact for operational and administrative activities for the Department. This position is responsible to provide administrative, managerial, fiscal, personnel, and leadership for staff support, including delegated authority to make commitments affecting the management and operations. This position requires the exercise of independent judgment and decision-making in handling complex and confidential issues, based a broad knowledge of WSU policies and procedures.
