About Brookwood School: Brookwood is an Early Childhood through Grade 8 independent school of about 300 students located on a beautiful 30-acre wooded campus in Manchester, MA on the coast of the North Shore of Boston. At Brookwood, kids come first—not the test, not trophies, not to-do lists. We know how kids learn best. Position Summary Brookwood seeks an outstanding musician/performer that teaches the joy and passion that comes from and with music, and helps EVERY child see that they can be part of that process. The ideal music/performing arts teacher will desire to be part of a department that truly loves teaching and is continuously dreaming of how best to share music with children, families, and the whole school. Dedicated to graduating students with cultural competency, Brookwood actively pursues candidates with a strong focus on multiculturalism, equity, inclusion. The candidate will be a team player who can support and build on music department ideas. Brookwood seeks a music/performing arts teacher who will “teach from their strengths' and desires to be part of a community that will support them in that process.
