At BlueJeans by Verizon, we’re transforming the way people collaborate by delivering the meetings platform for the modern workplace. We bring video, audio, and web conferencing together so it's easily accessible for everyone, regardless of location or device, including mobile, desktop, and room system. We work with thousands of companies worldwide to support everyday meetings, large-scale events, and social broadcasts so people can collaborate the way they want. All our customers have one trait in common: they understand the benefits of bringing their employees, leaders, and partners closer together.
The Account Manager will be chartered with driving the adoption of the BlueJeans by Verizon technology into and within newclients while further expanding adoption across existing clients and leveraging Partners, Sales Engineering, Professional Services and Customer Success resources for success.
Researching accounts, identifying key players, and generating interest
Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound prospecting and cultivating partner relationships.
Executing online and in-person product demos and clearly articulating the value add of BlueJeans products within their internal solutions conversations.
Understanding customer needs and requirements, and building strategic business relationships
Demonstrating breadth and depth of knowledge in aligning the company's capabilities to both the client business and IT priorities, and positioning relative to competitors.
Owning and growing a territory by closing sales and achieving quarterly quotas directly and via channel partners
Focused consultative selling with a long-term view and approach into Commercial companies
Thinking beyond the initial sale and renewal to expansion, and driving adoption of the BlueJeans technology and products
Acting as a Trusted Advisor to client leaders and aggressively shaping deals early in the sales cycle and advancing opportunities that result in profitable revenue growth for the company
What we’re looking for...
You'll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Two or more years of prior experience driving and managing sales in B2B or B2B2C SaaS or subscription environment.
Proven record of exceeding quota selling software and related solutions i
Multi-thread sales experience selling.
Even better if you have:
Comfortable with high-end exposure to C-level executives, and the ability to build strong trusted relationships
High level of business acumen with well-polished strategic, relationship, presentation, written and verbal communication skills
Ability to create and prioritize strategic target account lists and defined territories, and work alongside marketing and channel partners to develop and execute account plans.
Detail oriented and analytical with a high clock speed with an ability to thrive in a high growth startup and juggle many balls at one time.
