The AD will support college and university programs, such as Pirate Promise, designed to grow transfers of students from community colleges into CET degree programs. - Develop relationships and connect with local student-centered organizations that can facilitate marketing of CET programs, including student groups in K-12 schools and community colleges as well as STEM-related community groups and non-profit organizations. - Coordinate with ECU Admissions to assist with on-site open house/admitted student days and academic days for CET, including coordination of presentations and tours. This includes personal responsibility for some presentations and tours; securing presentations by chairs and faculty when needed; and developing a corps of students trained to provide tours on an as-needed basis. - Coordinate with K-12 schools, especially high schools and the ECUSTEAM Early College, for CET on-site visits, including coordination of presentations and tours as described above. - Coordinate with the Executive Director and CET departments in CET to determine recruitment goals, needs, and planning for strategic marketing and outreach. - Work with the ECU Communications staff and department representatives to improve marketing materials (handouts, videos, packets, emails/graphics) and communication strategies. - Work with CET leadership and department representatives to develop, plan, and carry out outreach and recruiting activities. - Engage in off-site visits with K-12 schools and community colleges to assist with prospective student outreach and recruitment.
