We are working with a successful secondary private equity fund manager that has experienced significant growth and is looking to expand the Investor Relations function. Together with the Head of Investor Relations, the goal is to develop relationships with existing clients, deliver a high level of customer service, and further expand the investor base. Working as part of a small team you will have an opportunity to make a significant contribution in this varied role.
The ideal candidate will be a educated to degree level with experience ideally gained in client relations, business development, investor relations and sales or marketing within an investment management firm or advisor. Exposure to alternative investment strategies such as private equity would be considered advantageous.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
  • Support day-to-day queries from clients, fund administrators and prospective investors
  • Assist in the relationship management of a range of existing investors
  • Update existing marketing and pitch materials and maintain internal CRM
  • Making outbound calls, emails to institutional investors to source and build new relationships in the US and EU
  • Assist with a range of activities to support the fundraising processes from initial meeting to commitment closing process
YOUR PROFILE:
  • Experience in client relations, business development and sales or marketing within an investment management firm or advisor
  • Organised and proactive with great time management skills
  • Knowledge of the secondary market would be a plus
  • Additional European languages would be beneficial though not a pre-requisite
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills and good financial acumen
