The Payroll Team in the United Kingdom (UK) is part of the Regional Human Resources (HR) Operations team and is responsible for the accurate and timely payment of Deutsche Bank's permanent employees based in the UK, Ireland, Channel Islands and Sweden. You will support the payroll operation for those locations (circa 9,500 records), ensuring accurate and timely processing and validating of the work in accordance with Service Level Agreements and company procedures.

Your key responsibilities
Assisting with the processing and end to end control of each payroll run, and of annual pay rounds and vesting share awards
Entering employee amendments including starters, leavers, bank detail changes, personal data, ad hoc payments/ deductions and tax record amendments on the payroll system - SAP Payroll / ADP Globalview
Providing second level support for HR Direct, responding to payroll queries from UK and Ireland employees via telephone and e-mail
Validating and distributing Bankers' Automated Clearing System salary payments each month, and producing tax information on a monthly and annual basis i.e. P45, Real Time Information returns, P60, P11d
Running regular and ad hoc reports from the payroll and accounts systems for HR and external auditors, and general administrative tasks such as dealing with Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs queries, assisting HR Advisors
Your skills and experience
Experienced volume payroller within a shared service environment with the ability to perform manual pay calculations
Strong administrative and interpersonal skills
Excellent multi-tasking, organisational and follow-up skills
Attention to detail and Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Applications, in particular strong analytic and Microsoft Excel skills
SAP Payroll experience (beneficial)
