CD Counselor II - $2500 Sign On Bonus

This position primarilyprovides services to students in the Elk River schools during the school year and in the treatment center in the summer. School services include pre-screenings and referals for services, invidual sessions with students, contact with parents, and student support groups. In the summer, the position is entirely in the adolescent dual diagnosis intensive outpatient treatment program working with teens who have substnace use disorders and co-occcuring mental health issues and their families.

$2500 Sign On Bonus

The Chemical Dependency Counselor II, working in conjunction with the treatment team and under the direction of the Clinical Systems Supervisor, Lead Counselor, and/or Charge Nurse, is responsible for the therapeutic implementation of the chemical dependency treatment program for clients. This includes planning, coordinating, and delivering chemical dependency counseling services and developing relationships with family members and concerned persons.

Required Qualifications:

• LADC licensure
• Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers
• 30 hours of adolescent developement coursework
• 150 hours of supervised adolescent experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in human services, counseling, psychology, or other related
• 1-3 years experience
