DESCRIPTIONThe Epic Report Writer HIM/Revenue Integrity/Revenue Cycle position is to support all Health Information Management Report Writer scope including Reporting Workbench, Radar, Clarity/Caboodle, Tableau. Involves the development and implementation of the organization's information systems and tools that are applied to clinical information. The incumbent will work closely with Revenue Integrity, Medical Records, and Revenue Cycle analysts and departments across all hospital/healthcare departments to optimize effective use of systems. Coordinates analytical support for Health Information Management and Revenue Integrity, including profiling, health economics, and business analytics/performance metrics. Defines systems and applications to support various functions. May provide customer service, troubleshooting and maintenance. Applies skills and experience as a seasoned clinical informatics professional to projects of medium size at all levels of complexity, or portions of large projects. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSSeven years (7+) or more of related experience, education/training in healthcare data, reporting, or general informatics; OR a Bachelor's degree in related area plus three years of related experience/training in healthcare data, reporting, or general informatics. Certification and or relevant experience working with data models in Epic Revenue Cycle, Epic Hospital Billing, and Epic Professional Billing. Professional level experience working with clinical information systems and developing reports. Intermediate level capabilities with MS Access and MSSQL server and related technologies. Intermediate level experience working with Transact SQL, Tableau, OLAP structures and/or other related technologies. Proven experience and proven success performing clinical workflows, user interface optimization, clinical decision support, rules development, data integration and mining, clinical ontologies and adoption of technology. Extensive experience and working knowledge of all MS office products. Knowledge and experience of database management technologies. Demonstrated project management skills. Ability to working a group setting and group projects. Excellent verbal, written communication skills, presentation and report writing. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects independently, setting priorities to meet deadlines.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Certifications in Epic Data models: Epic Revenue Cycle, Epic Hospital Billing, Epic Professional Billing, and HIM report writing including SQL Epic Clarity, Reporting Workbench, and Radar reports.

- Project Management experience.
- Epic Clarity Certification in Revenue Cycle, Professional Billing, Hospital Billing, HIM.
- Epic Certification in Reporting Workbench, Radar.
- Healthcare Revenue Cycle Reporting Experience.
- Intermediate to Advanced SQL.
- Experience developing data marts and visualizations in Tableau, Qlik or similar application.
- Strong communications at all management levels.
