Under general supervision, will provide programmatic support for the Interventional team and patients. Greets patients and meets needs for customer experience as the "Front Door" of the clinic. Serves as liaison between outpatient clinics, inpatient sites, referral teams, vendors, clinic managers, division leadership, and Director of Operations. Will report directly to the Clinic Manager. Responsible for ordering supplies and ensuring educational materials and other supplies needed for patient and providers and staff. Takes meeting notes and assists with other duties as assigned. May be asked to produce agendas for meetings and flow sheets or presentations. Maintains EPIC scheduling and templates and participates in Rev Cycle billing from the clinic.
A Bachelor's Degree in related area; and/or equivalent experience/training.
Two (2) years of relevant experience in healthcare with registration, scheduling, customer service, electronic health records, insurances, and other front office specialties.
Solid organizational, planning and time management skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with patients and co-workers.
Proven ability to conduct oneself in a highly professional manner in dealing with patients and their families.
Ability to work with mental health population.
Experience with EPIC, EMR.
Experience with Psychiatric population.
Demonstrated UCSD experience.
Bilingual in both Spanish and English.
Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
Flexibility, as the clinics are expanding and growing; different shift schedules may be requested as we may work into the evenings or Saturdays at some point.
May require after-hour and weekends. Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
