The Analytic Manager 4 role reports to Galliard's Senior Operations Manager but also works directly with managers across the firm to ensure their technology needs are supported. The individual will manage a team of six responsible for supporting the business line's technology needs, and interfacing with corporate technology and development.
Department responsibilities include:
Production support – ensuring that the systems, data, and end user computing tools (EUCTs) are operating as intended and resolving issues.
Adopting and implementation of new technology – Fostering industry networks to stay current on best practices and developing plans to adopt and implement as appropriate. Current initiatives include ensuring quality data is available, making the data easily accessible to end users, supporting python EUCT development, and other initiatives identified by the business line.
Supporting the trade desk and other specialty areas – Applying database expertise to building and support applications and custom reporting used by the trade desk and other Galliard departments.
Project Management and Business Analysis – Coordinating technology initiatives for the firm, including working with the Galliard Departments to understand the need and being the liaison with corporate development to implement new ideas.
Vendor oversight – Coordinating with technology vendors on contracts, production support needs, version updates, and corporate policies.
A successful candidate must have strong understanding of fixed income securities and products, experience implementing new technology, and the ability to foster relationships across the organization to collaborate on setting priorities and accomplishing them.
