The Initial Review Date (IRD) for this job is: 03-02-2021 Dept Marketing Statement The Psychology Department presently has 29 academic FTE, an administrative staff of eight, and makes several temporary academic staff appointments each year. Psychology presently has over 1900 undergraduate declared and proposed in the Cognitive Science and Psychology majors and 69 Psychology PhD graduate students. The Psychology Department Faculty and Staff are all currently housed in Social Sciences 2, College 10. The undergraduate advising team consists of the Undergraduate Program Coordinator/Assistant manager position and two full-time undergraduate advisors. The Undergraduate Program Coordinator/Assistant Manager has full programmatic responsibility for the administration of the Psychology Undergraduate Advising Program. The position will oversee all aspects of undergraduate curriculum and enrollment coordination, including updating the general catalog and departmental enrollment procedures. This position will be the undergraduate advising team lead and directly supervise the two undergraduate advisors in the department. Serves as the main staff contact for faculty and lecturers in regards to undergraduate student and curriculum issues and serves on the Committee on Undergraduate Affairs led by the Psychology Department Vice Chair. Advocates student issues, recommends solutions to progression and requirement issues. Provides advice to students on the full range of requirements for a department with two majors and a wide variety of course requirements. Advises department on complex curricular issues and recommends courses of action when new courses, programs are introduced. Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule Salary Information: Salary Range: $64,000 - $70,000. Salary commensurate with skills, qualifications and experience.
