Assistant Professor

Job Duties:

As a full-time, tenure track faculty position, the successful candidate will support the Department of Addictions and Rehabilitation Studies' mission with excellence in teaching, research, service, and leadership. The successful candidate will be expected to teach at all curricular levels and advise students in the master's in clinical counseling with an emphasis in addictions program. In regard to research agenda, the successful candidate will serve as the Assistant Director of the Navigate Counseling Clinic (Navigate) where they seek, implement, sustain, and/or direct grant funded research studies via the operations of Navigate. The successful candidate will also engage in service/leadership activities at the department through international levels.

Minimum Education/Experience:

PhD in Counseling from a CACREP accredited program, or a doctoral degree in a closely related field and one-year full time experience as a faculty in a counselor education program.
