DESCRIPTIONUnder general supervision, performs a variety of work duties which requires specific knowledge and training in patient care duties within business and professions code of the State of California and/or the regulations The Joint Commission (TJC). These duties also include but are not limited to: environmental care functions, equipment/supply management and cleaning/disinfecting the environment. Incumbents may also provide front office services on a routine or back-up basis. Medical Assistant who is trained to also schedule appointments and verify insurance. Will travel to various clinic locations in Orange County, Rancho Mirage, and Murrieta with the transplant MD. Will also work remotely to assist the GI and Hepatology teams on various Medical Assistant level tasks such as writing simple results letters, contacting patients, and providing instructions, all under the direction of the GI and Hepatology RNs. Typical duties include answering multi-line incoming customer calls, completing online registration, and scheduling appointments. Responsibilities emphasize on quality Customer Service. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSOne (1) year of EPIC & Cadence experience, or equivalent system. SPECIAL CONDITIONS
