Harborview Mental Health and Addiction Services has an outstanding opportunity for a full-time (100%, 40 hours per week), day shift, MENTAL HEALTH PRACTITIONER. The Mental Health Practitioner will be responsible for providing substance use screening and ongoing assessment serviced to patients on admitted to one of Harborview's inpatient psychiatry units. RESPONSIBILITIES REQUIREMENTS A Master's Degree in behavioral sciences, such as psychology, psychiatric nursing, occupational therapy, vocational or educational counseling, or social work OR Bachelor's Degree in nursing or a behavioral science AND three years' of experience in the direct delivery of professional mental health care. Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration. DESIRED Two years of experience in the direct delivery of professional alcohol and drug therapy UW Medicine includes Harborview Medical Center, UW Medical Center - Montlake, UW Medical Center - Northwest, Valley Medical Center, UW Neighborhood Clinics, UW Physicians, UW School of Medicine, and Airlift Northwest. | |||
