Reports To: Assistant Director, Residential Life Positions Supervised: Assistant Area Coordinator, Student Employee; Community Advisor, Student Employee
Job Summary The area coordinator (AC) is responsible for two or more residence halls or non-traditional residential housing locations. This position serves as a role model, facilitator, leader and essential employee in the effective operation of the residence life program. The area coordinator is an at-will employee who is appointed to a year-round, full-time, live-in position. The area coordinator recognizes that his or her primary residence in Lindenwood’s housing is a required term and condition of employment, and that the area coordinator’s right to Lindenwood housing terminates upon the area coordinator’s separation from employment as area coordinator. The area coordinator agrees to abide by the terms and conditions set forth in the Lindenwood Housing Contract and Lindenwood’s Residential Housing Policies and Procedures, including any and all occupancy limits set forth in those agreements.
