Assist the Admissions Director in all operations of the Admissions Office. Responsible for student recruitment for credit programs, rendering admissions decisions, providing assistance for using the latest technological resources and tools connected to the profession, and participating in the planning of activities and /or events that enhance the college’s overall enrollment. Serve as the office’s bilingual admissions recruiter, providing assistance to Spanish-speaking applicants. Establish outreach within surrounding communities to provide information regarding the college, its academic programs and support services. Create and adhere to a territory action plan with the Director of Conduct recruiting visits at high schools, local businesses and community events. Develop professional relationships with high school guidance counselors, teachers, and corporate and community members to acquaint them to higher education possibilities for students at CCM. Conducts pre-admission interviews with prospective students. Review admissions applications for acceptance and processing, review transcripts for transfer students to determine if placement testing is required, review AP scores for credit. Enter applications, equivalencies and test scores, change majors, add and remove holds, assign letters, complete weekly admissions statistics, etc. Assist with the planning and coordination of on-campus, off-campus, and virtual recruitment events such as but not limited to open houses, information sessions, and regional college fairs. Good interpersonal skills, commitment to customer service.

A minimum of one (1) year of college recruitment experience preferred. A Bachelor’s Degree is required; Master’s Degree desirable.
