Eighth Grade Science/Math Teacher

Dwight-Englewood School, the largest independent school in Bergen County, NJ, and a growing, vibrant, and diverse learning community in the New York City metro area, is seeking to fill Eighth Grade Science/Math teaching position. Beginning work in our brand new Middle School building, the teacher will have the unique opportunity of developing the culture and systems of this new space in collaboration with the grade level team and administration. The teacher will work closely with teachers of other disciplines to provide age-appropriate instruction in reading, writing, and critical thinking. Grounded in the school’s mission statement, the Middle School faculty are further characterized by the following traits: student-centered, collaborative, engaging, and process over product oriented. We seek an energetic, curious teacher who wants to inspire students to learn more about themselves and the world around them. Essential Responsibilities:
