Location: Moorhead Campus Full/Part Time: Full Time Employment Condition: Limited Job Description: Position Summary: The Dean for the School of Business, Engineering, Technology and Trades is a front-line leader of the College, a member of the Academic Leadership Team, and a member of the College management team. Academic leaders are the facilitating link among faculty members, staff, students, and the President's Cabinet and external constituencies. All activities and roles of the School Dean aim at furthering the best interests of M State students. School Deans play four essential roles, serving as: 1.academic leaders of their faculty, schools, divisions, and programs; 2.representatives of their faculty, schools, divisions, and programs; 3.representatives of College leadership to their colleges; 4.managers of college resources. The School Dean is responsible for promoting academic, administrative, and fiscal leadership in accordance with the Minnesota State Community and Technical College strategic and academic plans and for exercising holistic judgment when executing the duties of this position. The position involves significant discretion and substantial involvement in the development, interpretation and implementation of Minnesota State and M State policies. Experience in delivery course and programs through various teaching modalities (e.g. online, hybrid, etc.). Experience in course and program development and review.
