The Business Academic Unit invites applications for a full time, 9-month, non-tenure track Teaching Faculty position beginning August 2021. The Business Academic Unit offers ACBSP-accredited undergraduate degrees in business administration, accounting, finance, management, marketing, and sports management, and a number of related undergraduate and minors and certificates. Plymouth State University graduate programs include a Master of Business Administration degree and a Master of Science in Accounting. Our business programs have a track record of providing relevant, experiential and applied learning experiences that challenge students and prepare each for career success We seek a dynamic colleague committed to teaching excellence, student development, and service. The Teaching Faculty positions are full time, with benefits, funded on a year-to-year basis, carry a teaching load of 30 to 32 credit hours per year as well as service expectations, and are eligible for promotion to a senior teaching faculty rank.
â¢MBA or Masterâs degree in related field. â¢Recent teaching experience (2-5 years) specifically in operations management at the undergraduate level OR a demonstrated track record of professional operations experience and at least two years teaching as an adjunct, teaching lecturer, or corporate trainer. â¢Experience teaching undergraduate-level contemporary business and management topics. â¢Demonstrated teaching proficiency or potential for excellent teaching. â¢Ability to serve as an academic advisor and mentor for undergraduate students. â¢Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
