The purpose of this position is to provide business operations support to Project and Management teams and oversight on complex project documentation preparation; escalation point for project commitment, invoice & pay application processing; financial reconciliations; project reporting; 'administrator' role for project technology tools.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide project management and contract administration support on multiple real estate development projects within the Los Angeles business unit of Trammell Crow Company. Projects include large scale multi-family residential, office, healthcare, and mixed-use buildings. This job has significant growth potential with one of the largest commercial real estate developers in the Country.
Oversee contracting, budgeting, invoicing, and payments for vendors
Contribute to weekly and monthly reporting
Keep ELITE information updated for Business Unit's projects
Assist with vendor proposals and bidding process
Track action items to assist development teams
Participate in weekly meetings with design and construction teams
TBD: Limited office management tasks as needed including preparing letters, managing mail, ordering office supplies, organizing meetings, event planning, expense report, etc.
Attend project meetings with development management team; take minutes, prepare and distribute project status documentation
Other duties as assigned
Bachelor's degree in any field
Prior project management/coordination experience is required
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
2-3 years direct experience in commercial real estate construction and/or development is required
