![]() University of California Los Angeles Requisition Number: 33100 Salary: $17.10 - $33.90 hourly Position Description: The Fowler Museum at UCLA seeks a 50% (20 hours per week) Curatorial Assistant to participate in a 3-year collaborative interdisciplinary project funded by the Lilly Endowment's Religion and Cultural Institutions Initiative. The project will expand the Museum's engagement with religion via exhibitions and programming centered on well-informed and culturally sensitive portrayals of religious beliefs and practices. Under the supervision of the Senior Curator of Latin American and Caribbean Popular Arts, the Curatorial Assistant will support all aspects of exhibition documentation and development, including the management of library, archival, digital, and field-based assets; coordination and communication with guest curators, guest artists, and advisors; general administrative support; maintenance of project databases and research files; organization of project meetings and their documentation; and preparation of exhibition checklists.
