Advertised Job Summary:

The Student Services Program Coordinator II will serve as the primary academic advisor to General Track MLIS students in the School of Information Science and to online MMC students in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication, database manager for iSchool and online MMC student services, and coordinate graduation and placement activities for iSchool and online MMC graduate student services. This position will also serve as the advisor and primary point of contact for a small group of undergraduate students who are pursuing the accelerated track for the MMC and MLIS. The face to face interaction with students will be limited.

Advertised Minimum Qualifications :

Masters in Student Personnel Services, Higher Ed Admin, Student Services or related field, or bachelor's degree and 2 years related experience. Must be highly detail oriented, self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team, and carefully manage multiple responsibilities with short deadlines. Experience with databases. Must be a team player and have excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Must have knowledge of student development and the ability to work with diverse populations. Must demonstrate a high level of discretion and informed decision-making skills.
