JOB SUMMARY Oversee all aspects of commercial property design and construction with a particular focus on multi-family residential and industrial (multi-family is a plus). Additional experience in office, retail, , and/or healthcare development assignments is desirable . Specific responsibilities would include selecting, managing, contracting, and administrating projects from initial selection of design teams through the completion of construction. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree (minimum) in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering from a 4 year college or university. Prefer applicant have a minimum of 5+ years experience in construction management, design, and/or commercial development. Knowledge and understanding of construction practices/techniques, contract management, AIA documents, contract law, project controls, construction project safety, and building support systems. Leadership qualities including team building and training. Ability to lead/manage development project. Excellent interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability. Strong verbal/written communication skills. Proven record of excellent customer service and well respected in the industry. FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE Requires general knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to create budgets and manage development costs.
