Associate Graphic Designer

Position Summary:

As a member of the Creative Services team, the Associate Graphic Designer is responsible for helping to develop and design the graphics, collateral and imagery. S/he will create designs for both print and digital materials and will be highly skilled at working in collaboration with senior management, various departments and clients from the beginning of a project through to completion. The Associate Graphic designer creates marketing materials including but not limited to: sales collateral, product flyers, advertisements, email and newsletter campaigns, advertisements, postcards, social media graphics and other corporate collateral. Assist with the development of campaigns, events, and digital marketing efforts.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design clear engaging graphic communications for print and digital applications. This may include logos, direct mail pieces, branded promotional items, web and social media graphics, posters, flyers, and other marketing materials, as needed.
• Help with workload and report directly to Creative Lead team member.
• Assist with special projects, as assigned.
• Fulfills design related requests, including but not limited to product flyers, advertisements, email and newsletter campaigns, online advertisements, postcards, ads, project banners, social media graphics and any custom request for print, web and video.
• Participates in team brainstorms.
• Manage collateral production and fulfillment; printing and binding
• Maintains and updates company website, using Sitecore
• Maintains and updates the company Intranet, using Sharepoint
• Updates quarterly marketing materials
• Creates quarterly newsletter and flipbook

Requirements:

• Strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines and can efficiently own multiple projects at a time; sometimes with little direction.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, depending on the project.
• Ability to be creative both inside and outside of brand guidelines while being conscious of delivering accurate content in creative work.
• Strong communication skills to clearly and succinctly communicate in a visual and written format. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including editing and proofreading.
• Willingness to perform additional duties as demanded by surges in project volume and at manager's discretion.
