Purpose & Pedagogy

SNA Marianapolis International School seeks innovative, collaborative educational leaders to join its K-9 administration. The school holds its educators and students to the same superlative community standard. The ideal administrative candidate has a relevant graduate-level degree or higher, with comprehensive knowledge of independent school management. A background in a school environment and/or in early childhood development is preferred. A commitment to metrics-based planning, coupled with incomparable integrity, will best-serve each member of the SNA Marianapolis International School administration. This employee reports directly to the Head of School.

Qualifications, Skills & Responsibilities

  • Working collaboratively with the Head of School and other administrators to build and implement comprehensive experiential and residential curricula.
  • Representing SNA Marianapolis to families and students in the weeks prior to arrival, as well as throughout their experience at the school.
  • Overseeing a structured, nurturing approach to student discipline – in conjunction with the school counselor - that factors in opportunities for growth.
  • Communicating 1:1 with parents of students in regards to student discipline and/or concerns with student life matters.
  • Managing student leadership organizations, including but not limited to synchronizing the application and assignment processes with the requisite faculty leaders.
  • Coordinating housing assignments for new students and adults in the dormitory setting.
  • Leading the team of residential life faculty, dispersing real-time information about student needs and functioning as the primary administrator for all calendar-based planning and programming.
  • Serving on the Administrator on Duty team to assess and revise the implementation of student life curricula by school personnel.
  • Demonstrating outstanding communication skills with an emphasis on public speaking, as well as exceptional organization and time management.
