Location: Anoka, MN Full/Part Time: Full Time Employment Condition: Unlimited Job Description: Anoka Technical College is seeking a Dean of Academic Affairs. The purpose of this position is to provide leadership and direction to ensure comprehensive planning and management of academic programs that lead to student success. The primary areas of focus include assessment of academic program effectiveness, working with faculty on curriculum development and revision, budget and resource development, program accreditation, course scheduling, hiring and evaluation of faculty. This individual will also be responsible for directing the system initiatives of Equity 2030 in aiming to ensure equitable outcomes for students. Other responsibilities include chairing or co-chairing college committees, as well as creating and supporting transfer agreements for students and promoting business connections to support academic programming. All decisions must be made within the context of and in alignment with the mission, vision, values and goals of Anoka Technical College including the appropriate collective bargaining agreements, Minnesota State policies and procedures, State of Minnesota laws and statutes, and federal laws.
