Assistant Dean- College of Pharmacy - 2100000039 Description Hiring Range: Salary Commensurate with Education and Experience JOB SUMMARY/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Under the direction of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, this position plans, develops, implements, and directs the daily functions of all departments/units in the College. Additional duties include providing financial strategies to enhance the financial and academic standing of the College; prioritizing, preparing, internally auditing, and supervising the allocation of an annual budget greater than $20 Million; overseeing personnel and all facets of departmental/unit business offices; managing financial transactions, endowments, and other foundation accounts; and maintaining an ongoing analysis of the proportionally growing capital needs of the College. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Qualifications MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION: Bachelor's D egree in Business, Finance, or Accounting. (TRANSCRIPT REQUIRED) EXPERIENCE: Seven (7) years of progressive experience in a university setting that includes administration, program management, or human resources responsibilities; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Supervisory experience is required . (CPA preferred). KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES :
WORK SCHEDULE : This position may be occasionally required to work evenings and weekends. May require occasional overnight travel.
