Digital Art Instructor

Providence Country Day School, an independent school serving students in grades 6-12, seeks a dynamic, enthusiastic full-time digital art instructor. This teacher should have strong working knowledge of digital photography, video production, 3D modeling, the Adobe suite, and other contemporary Digital Apps that would enhance our Digital Studio courses.

PCD’s Arts Department encourages students to engage in the Arts with confidence and curiosity. Our vision and practices support a growth mindset by teaching students to value mistakes as opportunities for learning. Our philosophy empowers students to understand the value of the Arts in everyone’s life, inspires independent and collaborative problem-solving, and makes intentional connections to the world. Candidates must have the desire and ability to develop meaningful and productive relationships with motivated students from diverse backgrounds. This teacher should plan to be part of a collaborative visual and performing arts team; and an integral component of students’ lives, in the classroom, as a department member, and as an advisor.
