The CAPS Counselor position will provide individual and group counseling, consultation with faculty and staff, outreach and liaison services, crisis intervention and educational activities. Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) clinicians are strong generalists in the areas of solution-focused short term clinical work, group treatment, and outreach/education/community engagement work, all within a college student mental health setting. This position may provide supervision to graduate trainees and/or other clinicians without a license. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across cultures and with clinical and non-clinical colleagues, campus departments, and student groups. The successful candidate also will possess excellent interpersonal skills along with strong analytical and conflict resolution abilities.
