Keene State College invites applicants for the Assistant Director of Clinical Operations in The Wellness Centerâs Counseling Services. This position aids the Executive Director in the administration of The Wellness Centerâs Counseling Services by being the primary coordinator of all clinical activities in counseling services, including case assignments and disposition/termination activities. Additional responsibilities include updating the Policies and Procedures Manual for the clinical area; overseeing quality assurance of clinical activities; providing consultation services to other staff, faculty, and administrators; providing clinical supervision to interns; conducting individual, couples, and group psychotherapy; conducting initial evaluations and crisis interventions; designing and delivering mental health programming and outreach services to the college community; and any other duties as assigned. The Wellness Centerâs Counseling Services Team provides a wide variety of emotional health services to all students at Keene State College. The services provided are designed to help address existing personal challenges and prevent future problems. In addition to short-term individual counseling and group counseling, the Center offers consultation to staff, faculty and students; referrals for care to other professionals and agencies; urgent services including an after-hour emergency counselor hotline; campus outreach; and a wide variety of campus programs and events focused on the improvement of emotional well-being, challenging cultural stigma about emotional health difficulties, and problem prevention. We place significant emphasis on using innovation, creativity, and cross-campus collaboration in our approach to the delivery and provision of emotional health services. A Master's degree and five years of related experience, or a doctoral degree and three years of related experience; New Hampshire State professional licensure (candidates who are license eligible at the time of start date will be considered); and strong experience and demonstrated competency providing clinical services, outreach, and programming. |
