DESCRIPTIONThis lab's focus is conduction research into novel, CMOS compatible, ferroelectric material which is investigated through backend memory devices and neuromorphic computing. Under general supervision, incumbent is responsible for developing and executing research projects in collaboration with the Principal Investigator (PI) related to the modeling of ferroelectrics based on alloys of hafnium zirconium oxide (HZO). The primary modeling tool is density functional theory (DFT). Incumbent will independently conduct and optimize research with a wide variety of procedures such as liquid chromatography, mass spectrometry, NMR, and general methods in organic synthesis; interpret and analyze experimental results to enhance the overall standards of the on-going research, and prepare results for presentation/publication. Incumbent will also be responsible ensuring recharge operations are correctly accounted for and billed. Interact professionally with faculty, postdoctoral scholars, students, collaborators, visiting scholars, and research technicians in laboratory. QUALIFICATIONS
