Job Title: ASA Treatment Counselor Report To: ASA Manager Department: ASA Program Job Vacancy: YAN-21-006 Status: Full-Time; Exempt Starting Wage: DOE Opening Date: 01/04/2021 Closing Date: 01/15/2021 POSITION DESCRIPTION:. The Alcohol Substance Abuse (ASA) Treatment Counselor receives counseling referrals, makes professional assessments, develops treatment plans, maintains a professional record of each case, delivers counseling services, and facilitates positives behavioral change. Services may also occur in the homes of the clients, as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS:

Physical Requirements The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to ten (10) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the environment is typical of an office setting. While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to sit; talk or hear; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or operate objects, tools or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
