We are working with a global venture capital fund that offers over 20 years' experience in technology investment. Our client focuses on early stage, primary and secondary growth capital and emerging markets.

Given their recent successful fundraise and future growth plans, they are now looking to hire an Investor Relations Manager to support the Partners through the fund-raising cycle by managing pre-marketing and post-closing investor relations activities and providing support to fund-raising activities. Managing relationships with investors and ensuring that communication is professional, accurate and efficient.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • On-going relationship management with existing LPs. Providing consistent, regular, and accurate communications through update reports and managing bespoke requests
  • Work with senior team, internal stakeholders and external advisors in the planning and implementing of the capital raising strategy for future funds
  • Manage and prepare key fund marketing materials: DDQs, pitching presentations, case studies and other additional fund marketing documentation
  • Work with the wider team in the planning, preparation and delivery of key investor events including AGMs and Advisory Board meetings
  • Support the preparation and contribute to drafting sections of investor reports
YOUR PROFILE:
  • Relevant investor relations experience gained in a fund, or project management experience within a placement agency combined with experience in financial services, consulting, or accounting
  • Strong, positive relationship management skills developed both internally and externally enabling you to engage at all levels
  • Substantial knowledge and understanding of venture capital, or a genuine interest in the sector
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills, drafting clear and impactful messaging, presentations, and communications
  • A strong team player, yet confident and independent
