Middle School Spanish Teacher

Berwick Academy, a PK-12 coeducational day school located in Southern Maine seeks a dynamic, student-centered educator to teach Spanish in grades 7 and 8.  A qualified candidate will show significant evidence of exceptional teaching and a keen understanding of the developmental needs of middle school students. A passion for teaching Spanish language and culture as well as a collaborative/interdisciplinary teaching approach and instructional leadership skills among peers are hallmarks of a successful candidate.  As a member of the Middle School Faculty, candidates can expect to teach four or five classes, coach one or two seasons of sports or lead equivalent afternoon responsibilities, and serve as an advisor.
