Establish and maintain all records for active clinical studies; interview and screen subjects for studies; perform duties directed by study protocols or by clinical study investigators; interpret and record results; inventory and prepare chemicals for clinical studies; keep data for cross referencing subject names and other demographics; computer entry of data collected in clinical studies; bookkeeping for clinical studies accounts; maintain required forms and redesign as necessary; maintain and update educational; attend meetings as directed by clinical studies investigators; act as advisor regarding methods, materials and compilations and evaluation of data regarding clinical studies; additional duties may be assigned by clinical studies investigators or the Supervisor.
Duration of this appointment and indicated salary may be changed or eliminated if a gift, grant, or contract fund supporting this position becomes unavailable.
Bachelor's Degree with major courses in field of research / No Experience; OR Associate's Degree and 3 years of relevant experience Basic computer skills
Strong communication skills and ability to work with people
Ability to work well with others in a small space
Strong organizational skills and creativity
Candidates who are interested in medical school
Phlebotomy certification, or experience as a certified nurses aide or Medical Assistant
Previous clinical and/or research experience
Basic medical experience (vital signs)
Competence in computer work
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically PowerPoint)
