Internal Job Number: P04096UF Description: The College of Education is seeking an Education PhD Lead. This is a part-time (.50 FTE), 12-month, fixed term professional faculty position. Reappointment is at the discretion of the Dean General Education PhD Program Lead Position Description: This job title falls under the profile: Coordinator – Academic Programs and provides specific academic expertise to plan, organize, coordinate, evaluate and participate in an academic program or project; plan and monitor performance against program goals and objectives and ensure program results; interact with internal and external program or project stakeholders to build program support. This position manages the overall program. A Program Lead establishes and maintains program processes, policy, and programmatic documents and engages in assessment and outreach. These positions provide deep programmatic insight specific to the academic program content. Specific Education PhD Program Lead Position Summary: Minimum Qualifications (Staff) / Guidelines (Faculty): Typically requires Bachelor's Degree and professional experience in field related to assigned responsibilities. Requirements : Earned master's degree in program area or closely related field. Demonstrated relevant advising experience. Evidence of strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated experience learning and using spreadsheets, databases, or other analytics software to track and report on data to a variety of stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to manage overlapping priorities and navigate complex systems within an institution. Demonstrated experience working independently and collaboratively. Evidence of excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with a variety of stakeholders (e.g., faculty, administrators, students) as well as interpersonal skills.
