 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION:
Hold primary responsibility for coordinating and finalizing HNU's articulation agreements with other academic institutions, and ensuring they are maintained and active. Proactively reach out to other academic institutions that may be interested in signing an articulation agreement with HNU to establish articulation and transfer relationships. Participate and represent HNU at conferences and meetings, such as at NCIAC. Oversee the student transfer process, ensuring that transfer evaluations are compliant with the articulation agreements, HNU's policies, and any relevant accreditation requirements. Evaluate applicant transcripts for credit transfer. Collaborate with the admissions counselors on the recruitment process. Work closely with prospective students interested in enrolling at HNU, particularly those prospective students looking to transfer credits from other institutions. Provide transcript evaluation training.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
A bachelor's degree is required; Master's degree is preferred. Must have at least 3-5 years of experience in articulation and/or transfer admissions. Familiarity with articulation agreements and other inter-university partnerships is required. Knowledge of the CSU GE Breadth, ASSIST, and C-ID Descriptors preferred. Must possess customer service orientation, a high level of professionalism, ability to follow procedures, and strong attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, high volume environment, both independently and collaboratively. Position requires excellent written and oral communications and interpersonal skills. Proficient with computers, including browser-based software services, Microsoft Office, and email. Ability to multi-task across a wide variety of tasks, departments, and circumstances and effectively prioritize and execute. Ability to implement and execute effective solutions, while providing efficient updates and making effective recommendation. Excellent planning and organizational skill.
