Nurse Practitioner (Temporary)

The Nurse Practitioner (Temporary) position at Carleton College provides primary health care to college students (17-24-year olds) independently, within a collaborative team environment of Advance Practice Registered Nurses, Psychologists/Counselors, Psychiatric consultant and Dietitian. The APRN provides clinical services and preventative care to Carleton students, via scheduled individual appointments, telephone triage, and some walk-in care. Works closely with other members of Student Health and Counseling in the ongoing development of integrated physical and mental health services. This is a temporary part-time, non-benefit eligible position.

The successful candidate has a Master’s degree in Nursing with preparation for the advanced practice role, board certification, and must hold a current Minnesota RN and APRN license. Preferred qualifications include two or more years of experience as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, experience in a college health environment, an interest or experience working with students who have eating disorders, and a current CPR/BLS certification.
