Northwestern University’s office of Academic Support & Learning Advancement (ASLA) seeks a temporary, full-time Program Manager to lead academic-support programming tailored to the current remote-learning environment. This is a term position running through June 2021, and would be ideal for a reflective and energetic person looking to create programming that promotes positive academic experiences for college students.
About the Unit:

The five-member staff and 200+ student peer leaders provide programs and services — including facilitated study groups, tutoring, academic coaching, and more — to several thousand undergraduates each year. To provide integrated and aligned services to students, ASLA staff members regularly collaborate with faculty, advisors, and other staff from across the University’s schools and divisions.
About the Position:
This position will be responsible for developing and implementing support programming aimed at helping students succeed academically during the COVID-19 remote/hybrid learning period. This programming includes a self-directed, unfacilitated study-group program; services to connect students taking the samecourses; and individual and group-based learning support to students facing challenges with academic work in the online environment. The Program Manager will oversee all aspects of program operations, including administration and logistics, resource development, facilitation and coaching, marketing and outreach, and assessment.
