The successful candidate will: - Perform administrative activities necessary for effective planning, coordination, and implementation of initiatives to enhance and streamline the student application process;
- Include the coordination, timely, and accurate procession of admissions applications for the College of Medicine, School of Health Professions, College of Nursing, and School of Public Health;
- Be directly responsible for performing administrative activities necessary to enhance and streamline the student application and interview process. Duties and responsibilities will also include, and are not limited to:
- Application processing & administrative duties;
- Application assistance & counsel prospective applicants;
- Attend recruitment events on and off the campus;
- Interview process;
- Admissions Committee;
- Provide reports;
- Transcript evaluations & assessment of course equivalencies;
- Coordinate and plan events related to the admissions process
| Required Qualifications: | - Bachelor's degree/equivalent;
- A minimum of two years of recent work experience in a college or university setting (or equivalent);
- Proficiency in word processing, data entry in working with the Student Information System;
- Internet skills a must-experience;
- Must possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills;
- Must be detailed oriented;
- Experience with Banner, AMCAS, and ApplyYourself/PeopleSoft/AMP/CAS systems.
| Preferred Qualifications: | - Experience with transcript evaluations;
- College-level writing skills as well as strong organizational and interpersonal skills;
- Work experience and knowledge of allied health, and nursing admissions a plus.
