Indiana University Kokomo is seeking an innovative, dynamic, and proven leader to serve as the Dean of the School of Business. The AACSB accredited School offers an MBA program, as well as a Bachelor of Science with majors in accounting, finance, management, human resources, and marketing, and is part of a collaborative online degree program in Business Administration offered by the regional campuses of Indiana University. The School of Business also houses degree programs in Hospitality and Tourism Management, Sport and Recreation Management, Public Administration and Health Management, and Applied Science. Finally, the school assists Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA US) in developing its own future leaders by offering an MBA cohort program to employees of five FCA plants in the region. One of eight Indiana University campuses, IU Kokomo is a comprehensive non-residential campus located in Kokomo, a city with a population of about 47,000, 50 miles north of Indianapolis, Indiana. The campus serves more than 3200 students from an 11-county area in north central Indiana, as well as numerous other states and countries. The School of Business is a member of the SAP Education Alliance.
Recently ranked among the top regional campuses in the Midwest, IU Kokomo is developing a national reputation for its commitment to student success. Since 2016, fall-to-fall retention for first-time beginners has risen 10 percentage points. Enrollment is up nearly 9 percent since fall 2016. Home to a new Student Activities and Events Center (completed and opened this year) and a recently renovated Main Building, IU Kokomo is known in the IU community for its lovely campus, spirit of innovation, and can-do attitude.
