![]() Webster University Position Number: S0940 Job Description Summary: Minimum Qualifications Two years of college coursework and/or equivalent experience. Detail oriented with strong organizational skills. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Knowledge of Utah State and Federal regulations pertaining to the administration of GI Bill benefits, military tuition assistance, and financial aid preferred. Ability to operate office equipment, proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and possesses the ability to learn how to use Webster University student tracking programs. Able to work independently and advise students with general program information and admissions requirements. Possess valid U.S Drivers License and an insured vehicle to drive to and from on base locations. Ability to pass a background check to access Federal/Military Installation. Preferred Qualifications Ability to operate Microsoft Office Suite without assistance. VA Certifying Official. Knowledge of military branches and rank structure. Knowledge of military and civilian tuition assistance process. Veterans preference given. Essential Duties Responsible for processing all paperwork associated with student applications, transcripts, registrations, drop/withdrawals, and payments. Creates and maintains paper and electronic files. Answers telephone, schedules appointments, greets and directs visitors/students. Assists staff, faculty, and students in response to inquiries and requests for information. Serves as financial aid representative for the campus, coordinating the processing and submission of all financial aid documentation. Provides veterans benefits counseling. Works with local and regional Veterans Administration representatives. Submits student VA and Vocational Rehabilitation certifications each term. Processes military and civilian tuition assistance paperwork and serves as liaison with military educational counselors to assist tuition assistance students. Participates in the coordination of campus meetings, faculty meetings, graduation planning, and commencement ceremonies. Works with Webster University Main Campus and extended site personnel on process improvement projects. Monitors level of office supplies and orders supplies as necessary. Attend education fairs and community events with the Campus Director. Assists Adjunct Faculty with classrooms, necessary equipment, and supplies including textbook orders. Operates office equipment such as copier, computer, telephone, fax machine, printer, postage meter, etc. Performs other duties as assigned.
