Episcopal School of Jacksonville is seeking applications for a full-time Upper School Chemistry teacher in the Science Department, beginning in August 2021. A candidate with experience or interest in teaching AP Chemistry is preferred. Special consideration will be given to those teachers who have experience or training in teaching students in grades 9-12 and who structure student-centered learning through lab experiments. The candidate would be expected to write a narrative on each student a minimum of once a year. Additionally, as an advisor, the candidate would meet daily with a small group of students offering academic advising. Additional duties may include, but not be limited to, coaching an athletic team, supervising community service, or sponsoring a club.
