Location: Winona, MN Full/Part Time: Full Time Employment Condition: At Will Job Description: 1. Participate in the management of the University and its academic programs as a member of the Council of Administrators, Academic Leadership Council, and Deans Council. Foster and maintain relationships with alumni, business and industry, community partners and constituent groups. 2. Provide overall leadership, direction, and management of faculty, staff and students within the College of Business; plan and monitor overall budget for the College; implement and enforce contractual requirements as defined in labor/management agreements and University and system policy and procedure. 3. Supervise the College of Business departments as they exercise their responsibilities to plan, to propose/recommend/ monitor budgets, to recruit/recommend/assign faculty/staff and to oversee the development, improvement and retention of these programs. 4. Promote and support faculty and staff professional development and training; assess and evaluate overall outcomes and performance. 5. Lead the College in curriculum development and revision to prepare professionals for the 21st century. Review and recommend approval/disapproval of curriculum and program materials submitted by departments; assess their academic and economic impact; plan and implement periodic program reviews. 6. Lead the College assessment effort and the development of outcome measures needed by accrediting agencies. 7. Manage accreditation processes including submission of reports to accrediting agencies and state boards. 8. Manage the recruitment, selection and supervision of faculty and staff in the College; make hiring decisions; strive to realize diversity initiatives. 9. Represent the interests and concerns of the University at conferences and professional meetings at the Minn State system, state and national level. Participate in university, state, and national committees and councils. 10. Other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Provost/VPAA. Required Qualifications: 1. Earned doctorate in one of the major disciplines reflected in the College of Business from a regionally accredited institution.
