Job Description: ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS: Reports To: Dean of Students/Vice President of Student Life Supervises: Director- Disability Support Services, Assistant Director- Student Access and Support Services (SASS), Case managers, Student workers Summary of Position: Reporting to the Dean of Students/Vice President of Student Life, Associate Dean of Students, is responsible for providing a strong model of student retention, and overseeing Disability Services, CARE team, and Student Access and Support Services. The Associate Dean will provide senior leadership in the Division of Student Life (DSL) and across the College with both faculty and staff in order to create strategies that assist Mills students achieving their goals and graduating from Mills. The Associate Dean of Students supports the goals of the Division of Student Life and the College, as well as the College's Strategic Plan by developing and implementing programs and services that support the education, retention and engagement of our students. This position will be the primary liaison to faculty on student support concerns in collaboration with the Associate Provost for Student Success and Undergraduate Education. Additionally, this position is the staff member responsible for student concerns and divisional needs in the absence of the Dean of Students and serving in an on-call duty rotation. Additional Information: This is a full-time, exempt position with an FTE of 1.0. Salary is commensurate with experience, and includes an excellent benefits package including medical/dental/vision/life/LTD insurance, 403(b) retirement plan, 10 days of vacation for year one, 15 days of vacation for years 2-10, and 22 days of vacation years 10+ plus, 12 sick days and 17 paid holidays (subject to annual review).
