Internal Job Number: P03903UF Description: The College of Education invites applications for one or more fixed-term, non-tenure- track part-time instructor positions to teach on a term-to-term basis for the 2020-2021 academic year. Some of these appointments may be reviewed for renewal at the discretion of the Dean. The purpose of this position is to supervise student teachers in undergraduate and graduate licensure related programs during the academic year. The College of Education develops change agents in the form of researchers, scholars, learning leaders, teachers, and counselors. Minimum Qualifications (Staff) / Guidelines (Faculty): Typically requires Master’s degree in discipline appropriate to the field of teaching/instructional tasks. Requirements : Bachelor's degree in Education At least five years of documented teaching experience in a K-12 public school. Eligible for, or Holds, a valid teaching license for content area of evaluation. For ESOL student teacher evaluators only: Eligible for, or Holds, a valid ESOL endorsement on an Oregon teaching license. For Dual Language Specialization student evaluators only:
This position requires driving a university vehicle or a personal vehicle on behalf of the university; therefore, the incumbent must successfully complete a motor vehicle history check, possess and maintain a current, valid driver’s license in their state of residence, be determined to be position qualified and self-report convictions as per University Policy 05-030. Type: Office space is provided in Furman Hall at OSU's Corvallis campus. Travel to field placement sites is required. Additional Salary Information: $27.56/hr
