Internal Job Number: P03899UF Description: The College of Education invites applications for one or more fixed-term, non-tenure- track part-time instructor positions to teach on term-to-term basis for the 2020-2021 academic year. Some of these appointments may be reviewed for renewal at the discretion of the Dean. The purpose of this position is to develop and deliver courses for the College of Education's Education and Teaching programs. Courses may be face-to-face, hybrid, or fully online and include multiple subject areas in undergraduate or graduate programs. The College of Education develops change agents in the form of researchers, scholars, learning leaders, teachers, and counselors. Change agents make a difference by promoting innovation, social justice, and lifelong learning. They prepare citizens who are socially empowered, reflective, innovative, and caring members of our increasingly diverse communities and the world. Minimum Qualifications (Staff) / Guidelines (Faculty): Typically requires Master’s degree in discipline appropriate to the field of teaching/instructional tasks. Requirements : 1. Degree commensurate with courses to be taught as follows: 2. Documented experience teaching, training, or facilitating learning or developing curriculum in the course content area. 3. Documented years of teaching experience as follows: Type: Office space is provided in Furman Hall at OSU's Corvallis campus. Local travel for class and faculty meetings is required. Classes meet online and/or in-person weekly in Corvallis or Portland, Oregon. Attendance at regular faculty meetings (weekly to quarterly) is required.
