The IVMF advising program staff assist veterans, service members, and their families to provide direction through the online academic process; to offer guidance on study skills and coursework; and to counsel students on future career and other IVMF programs and services opportunities. The academic advisors are accountable for advising all assigned advisees seeking career advice while acting as a mentor in all aspects of the program. Advisors are responsible for all administrative functions for Advising Services and will propose ideas for additional resources and process improvements to the Manager of Advising Services. Further, academic advisors support program leadership, as necessary.
